Mel has been practising martial arts since she was eight years old. She is a certified Black Belt Krav Maga Alliance instructor. She is passionate about the facts behind fitness, and has a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science. (She has even completed a research paper on the High Roundhouse Kick.) Mel has a deep and specialist knowledge of the biomechanics of Krav Maga, and hard-earned expertise in self-defense for women.
